A Spanish Volunteer Medal consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Third Period (1941- )(Erinnerungsmedaille fr die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). Constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from a post war replacement ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised shields overlaid by Heer and Falange insignia, in turn overlaying a sword, topped by a Stahlhelm, and situated above a swastika flanked by clusters of laurel leaves, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of DIVISION ESPAOLA DE VOLUNTARIOS EN
