Mayer consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac measuring 35 mm (w) x(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Prsidialkanzlei code 26 for B.
