A Royal Order Of Francis I In Gold, I Class Knight, C.1850 Newly Listed It reopened as Southport AerospaceAn Early Sicilian Royal Order of Francis I; Knight in Gold In Gold and enamels, of superb quality manufacture, with original period ribbon, 41. 0mm x 47mm, with French (eagles head) hallmark on the cylinder suspension, and makers mark on opposite side (hardly legible), circa 1850, one tiny enamel flake on the right arm, virtually in mint condition and very attractive; Knight without crown is scarcer then Knight with crown.
