IN silver, featuring a white enamelled five point star with ball finials and smooth rays in each quadrant, obverse medallion in blue and light blue enamel with white enamel stars, encircled by the inscription BENEMERENTIUM PRAEMIUM, reverse features a vertical pin suspension with the central mark la royale RIO BRAZIL, measures 74. 1 mm (w) x 73 mm (h), enamels intact, dark patina on rays, very fine condition.
