'Ciel Rouge' (Red Sky) sees extended maceration on the skins
native grapes that add color
alongside orchard fruits like green apple and white peach
Hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed for purity
There’s energy and acidity to spare
Querciabella, Chianti Classico, 2020 SO031024 'Ciel Rouge' (Red Sky) seesFrom biodynamically farmed vineyards in Greve in Chianti, this 2020 Chianti Classico shows the vintage's freshness and approachability. Bright red fruit jumps from the glass alongside notes of cranberry tart and citrus rind, with a soft, silky mouthfeel that invites early drinking without sacrificing structure. A wine that tastes best now, over the next several years.
