African Indigo Baulé Ikat Textile Scarf No. 3 Skandinaviens bästa jeans butik 41% Nylon and 4% LycraIndigo has been used in many different cultures all around the world and in Africa there is a long tradition of making indigo dyed clothing and fabrics using a variety of different techniques. This textile comes from the Baul people from Cte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and it made of hand woven strips of cotton fabric that have been stitched together in order to make a bigger piece of fabric. The pattern is a so called ikat, where parts of the threads are
