It was given to Otto von Bismarck on occasion of his 80th birthday by the Germans in Paraguay. The book contains pages with signatures of members of the communities of Asuncion, Nueva Germania, Villa Encarnacion, Villa Rica, San Bernadino, Itaenrubi del Rosario, and Villa Concepcion. Measuring 295 mm (w) x 420 mm (h), presenting light scuffing and denting of the cover, remains very fine.
