Romania, Kingdom. An Order Of The Star, V Class Knight, Military Division, C.1940 United Republic of 1881 in Karlsruhe (southwest Germany)(Ordin "Steaua Romaniei"). Instituted in 1877. Type II (1932 1947). In silver with red, green and blue enamels, gilt cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 41 mm (w) x 63 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, tiny chips in the green enamels of the wreath on the reverse centrepiece ring, otherwise the enamels are intact, on a 1932 1938 original ribbon with hook and eye, better than very fine.
