The Dietz Comet was popular after WWII as the go to lantern for the Boy Scouts of America. This all red metal lantern has the original glass globe, which is marked with Dietz part number H 14. The lantern is marked Made in the United States of America on the fuel reservoir. The lantern is in good condition but could use a thorough clean as it is quite dusty.
