with only a flake on the bottom left corner in the fired red clay

This tile is part of the humorous six tile series entitled "An Eventful Days Fishing" designed at Wedgwood between 1870-1900

Due to damage from an enormous forest fire the gorge has been closed to hikers since 2017

use it under a hot casserole dish

Brightly colored red and orange flowers line the surface. They're accented by a background of blue green leaves and edged with a sparkly, metallic bronze glaze. The back has an embedded hanger and is signed. The sides are black. It measures 18 1 4" tall, 7 1 8" wide, and 3 4" thick. Excellent original condition.
