MS Saturnia 1929 Sizes:50x76cm (20x30 inch) Archival Print (Unframed) “Hotels were the undisputed kingsThis 1929 menu cover is a glamorous portrait of the nightlife on board the Italian owned Saturnia ocean liner which plied the route from Genoa to New York via Naples, Cannes and Gibraltar. Long days at sea were obviously the excuse to have parties in the evenings, though we dont think the passengers would have been quite as well dressed as the artist implies. The interior of this menu has an illustrated Bill of Particulars. Courtesy Herbert Beazley
