Vintage Large Terracotta Wine Storage Jar - Ca 1940 India 42 x 2 x 56Chinese black glazed stoneware storage jars like these originate from Shanxi province and date from the 19th Century and right into the mid 20th century. They were used for storing rice wine, vinegar & oils. These we're utility items and show some signs of ware from frequent use.
