Ours is hand blown glass, painted in the exact ripening yellow of that one missed Tuesday, freckled realistically at the stem, and hung from a firm metal cap that will outlast every real banana you ever buy. The glass is worked over an open flame and colored in layers, so the curve reads as fruit and not as
