Give the gift of art
inspiring you to get outside
I tried to capture the hues in this painting named after the trail
cool forest floor and was shining bright yellow through the lichen and foliage
This painting was inspired from one of my plein air (outdoor) painting adventures on Mount Seymour
Cedar Shadows II Studies Give the gift of artThis original painting is inspired from views while hiking near Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. The sunlight is coming through the huge cedar trees along the trail. This painting is part of the collection Forest Light released in September 2021. During the past year I made focused effort to get consistently out to the trails on my bike as well as hiking. The adventures inspired this collection of paintings. This painting is acrylic paint on canvas.
