Chinese Black Lacquer Folding Screen - Ca 1980 Planters whether used as unique lunchThis stunning lacquered folding screen is an iconic piece of Chinese design made for the Chinoiserie obsessed Western expat market in the 1980's. One side is gilded with a 'hundred boys' design, featuring a host of children taking part in various outdoor activities. The reverse shows a beautiful design featuring butterflies on a repeating Chinese key design. The screens come apart in two sets of two. Each screen section is 47. 5 x 190cm. From China UK
