Old Tibetan Folding Choksar With Later Painting Chairs Interior Dimensions: W98 x H198This Tibetan folding choksar dates to the 19th century and has been repainted in the 20th century as is often common practice in Tibet. The main feature is a single dragon clasping the cintamani, wish granting jewels in its claws. On the front two facing snow lions can be seen either side of a ceremonial urn decorated with ribbons. The quality of painting is superior to the painting of Tibetan furniture in the late 20th century and 21st century.
