From Caol Ila distillery this is a peated smokey Isla
Finish: Creamy and spicy with dark chocolate
warm fresh baked sponge with a hint of desiccated coconut
some caramel and hard toffee with sea salty
Nose: With a sweet oak and honey richness to open the nose
Mac-Talla Strata 15 Year Old 46% 70cl Aberfeldy From Caol Ila distillery thisMatured in sherry and ex bourbon oak casks A single malt from Islay Nose: Tangy orange and cherry aromas from the sherry cask shine through, fishing nets and wet sandy beaches. Some rich aromatic smoke underpins the nose perfectly. Palate: As rich as the nose from the fist sip. Dark fruits and chocolate notes create a full mouthfeel that grows nicely with peat and smoke, some tangy spices, smoked kippers and honey drizzled over fruit cake.
