Vintage Brass Chevrolet Paan Box - Ca 1930 Origin - Nagaland This is depicted in ChineseA brass box in the shape of a 1930's Chevrolet 'Chevy' car. The top opens to store cigarettes or paan, a preparation, which combines a paste of spices in a betel leaf. It is chewed for its stimulant and psychoactive effects. This particular design follows the design of the earlier Chevrolet Series AD Universal which came onto the market in 1930. It is far less common than the majority of car boxes which are made in the style of 1940's Chevrolet.
