This original German Jugenstil tile was designed by Margarethe Von Brauchitch for the Saxony Stove and Chamotte Wares Factory

The left edge still has its grout attached and the tile is remains in excellent condition with a few blemishes from its removal

Aquarius a Mid Century Tile by Mosaic Malibu and a seated mouse markedA Mid Century tile by the Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville Ohio. Dating to the 1950's it shows a woman pouring water, a depiction of the astrological sign Aquarius (Jan 20 Feb 18). It is rendered in an Art Deco style and covered in matte glazes. Measures 6" x 6" and marked MOSAIC MADE IN USA on the back. Very good condition with rubs to the corners.
