They were in a jumble of textiles at an auction and came with a little note: "These Kislav gloves, brought back to Baltimore from Paris by Aunt Betty, as a gift to little Pennie (or Mimi) Sept. 1939, a few days after WWII broke out. Garden Apartments 3F Baltimore, MD" Kislav is a famous glove company, by the way. They look like they've never been worn and are so soft it took me a moment to realize they are made of leather
