Italian Tortoiseshell Art Glass Vase ribbon or conversation starter10 3 4Diameter x 8H This Italian hand blown art glass vase is a sophisticated example of organic texture and warmth, likely originating from the historic workshops of Murano or the Maestri Vetrai of Empoli during the late twentieth century. Reflecting the tartaruga or tortoiseshell style that became a staple of Italian luxury export, the piece features a rich amber body mottled with deep espresso toned spots to create a rhythmic, leopard like pattern.
