Hylaeaicum levianum ASCLEPIAD The leaves are stiff andA nifty little species from the Amazon region where it grows as a stoloniferous epiphyte. The plant varies, depending on age from a seedling, starting out almost grassy, then growing fatter and compact with maturity. Further generations become even stouter and more interesting. The mature leaves are short, triangular, fairly succulent, spiny and flush purple at anthesis. *VIPP plants are Offsets
