Shasta Daylight Train, Portland to San Francisco Size:13.8x20 vivid conditionThe Shasta Daylight train ran from Portland to San Francisco and back. The train ran from 1949 1967 and took 15 and a half hours to make the trip in either direction. This was a great replacement for the heavyweight trains that took nearly a full day and night to make the same journey. Additionally, the Shasta Daylight was the Daylight train to be diesel powered, and the only one to run beyond California. This vintage poster advertising the Shasta
