MESSOUDA - Vintage Askaoun Rug 4' X 6'8" sheep wool It's made in the 1960'sThis long pile, vintage runner, is handwoven by the Amazigh women in the Souss Massa region of Morocco. Authentic Askaoun rugs are identified by their irregular hand knotted textures and typically have tassels only on one end. Due to the high lanolin content in the hand spun sheep wool, they are naturally dirt resistant and very durable. The color of this stunning runner is a deep hue of orange and blush just like a beautiful sunrise! Material: Hand
