Carpathian Peated Romanian Single Malt Whisky 46%ABV 30ml Scotland Thankfully the hop makes noThe first ever peated whisky from Romania this just won (January 2025) Best World Whisky 2024 at the USA based Spirits Top Fifty Awards where judges blind taste spirits so quite an achievement. This one is probably the least Romanian in the Carpathian Whisky line up as it doesn't appear to use 100% Romanian Barley or Romanian Oak and it is matured in 2nd fill casks that previously held Scotch peated whisky.
